On the afternoon of January 16, the company convened the Lanfeng Economic Work Conference and the Safety Committee Work Conference at the conference center. Chairman Yang Zhenhua, General Manager Geng Bin, senior executives and all mid-level cadres attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Gu Siyu, Deputy Secretary of the Company Party Committee and Executive Deputy General Manager.
The meeting comprehensively reviewed the company's main work in 2019, briefly summarized the development journey and valuable experience, deeply analyzed the opportunities and challenges ahead, clearly planned the next development goals, and conveyed to all cadres and employees the confidence and determination to overcome all difficulties.
Reviewing the 2019 work, General Manager Geng Bin pointed out that the past 2019 was an extraordinary year for Lanfeng. Facing the external development environment and strong supervision over safety and environmental protection, the management united with one heart and responded wisely, with the goals of holding the survival red line, improving management capability and enhancing economic operation efficiency, thereby promoting the enterprise's high-quality development, and the environmental appearance of the factory area improved remarkably. All employees closely kept to the various goals and tasks assigned by the board of directors, always maintained a good mental state, actively responded to the new normal, insisted on looking inward, strengthened basic management, strictly controlled costs, organized the effective operation of equipment, did a great deal of work, and achieved certain results.
Facing the various work tasks of 2020, the company will, in accordance with the overall requirement of "grasping the new situation, adapting to the new normal, improving quality and efficiency and enhancing operational efficiency", stand on reality, confront problems squarely, respond wisely to all challenges, give full play to the maximum benefits of limited resources, and plan well the industrial transformation and upgrading. It will continue to "grasp with both hands" as always, hold the bottom line of safety and environmental protection, continuously advance refined management, implement process optimization well, refine and optimize the leading products, and continuously improve economic operation efficiency.
In his speech, Chairman Yang Zhenhua fully affirmed the various work of Lanfeng in 2019. Chairman Yang pointed out that in 2019 the company faced three major pressures: safety and environmental protection, the case-filing investigation by the securities regulatory bureau, and funding; the work was extremely arduous. All cadres and employees made arduous efforts, and all aspects of work gained new turns and improvement.
Looking ahead to 2020, Chairman Yang emphasized that the internal and external development environment remains very complex, with various development uncertainties; the pressures will not be small and the difficulties will not be few, so there must be ample ideological preparation and countermeasures. Chairman Yang analyzed the company's development situation from the two levels of the challenges and opportunities facing the company, pointing out that the cadres and employees who grow and share the destiny together with Lanfeng are the cornerstone for overcoming all difficulties and obstacles; difficulties and opportunities coexist, and the key lies in how to grasp and respond.
With regard to the various work of 2020, Chairman Yang put forward clear requirements to all cadres: first, there must be a strong sense of crisis in thinking and a correct understanding of the various shortcomings and problems facing the enterprise; second, there must be a strong sense of responsibility in work — whether the work is done well and in place depends on everyone's sense of responsibility, and the sense of responsibility should be used to safeguard the enterprise's development interests; third, resources must be utilized efficiently, and fully giving play to the role of resources depends on improving the operational efficiency of resources.
Finally, Chairman Yang stressed that although difficulties are numerous, there is no hurdle that cannot be crossed. As long as everyone is united in heart and mind, works hard together and does solid work, the rainbow will surely appear after the storm.
At the meeting, Deputy General Manager Zheng Gang, Chief Financial Officer Jia Yongjun, General Manager Assistant and Safety Director Zheng Boting respectively introduced the 2019 production and operation situation, the 2019 final accounts and 2020 budget, the summary of the safety committee work, and the 2020 safety work goals and plans.
