Applied as a post-emergence spray, the herbicide is rapidly absorbed by weeds and accumulates in meristematic tissues and sites with active metabolic activity, where it disrupts normal plant hormone function and causes plant death. Gramineous plants exhibit relatively strong resistance. It provides significant control efficacy against broadleaf weeds.

Apply this product as a foliar spray after spring wheat emergence, when annual broadleaf weeds are at the 3–5 leaf stage. Do not apply before the three-leaf stage of wheat or after jointing. Do not use during windy conditions or when rainfall is expected within 1 hour. Apply this product once per season.
